Body of 63 year old man found in Sheema
Police
in Sheema District are
investigating circumstances under which a 63-year-old allegedly
committed suicide by poisoning.
The deceased is Baale
Adriano, a resident of Bunyagongo cell in Kagango division in Sheema Municipality
and the incident happened on Sunday, July 14th
in Rushoroza Cell, Kagango Division
in Sheema Municipality.
The
greater Bushenyi Region Police Spokesperson, Martial Tumusiime confirmed
the incident noting that on that very day, the deceased took his wife
to Rwabutura Catholic Church for prayers, he came back
to Kabwohe town to a petrol station to fuel his car and
drove heading to Ngoma, where he reached on the road and
abandoned d his car and went by foot. On Monday morning, his body was
found in a one Siraji's farm in Rushoroza Cell after a
long search.
According to police, his body was found smelling
a suspected Pesticide/Poison hence it is said he could have
committed suicide by taking poison. The body was later retrieved
and taken to kabwohe Health Center IV for post-mortem.
