The Uganda Cooperative Alliance has commended Issia Sacco in Ibanda District for its outstanding performance. The commendation was made by Ivan Asiimwe, the General Secretary of the Uganda Cooperative Alliance, while officiating at the 19th Annual Issia Sacco General Meeting, held at Kihumuro Gardens in Ibanda town.

Asiimwe noted that according to reports and evaluations, Issia Sacco stands out as one of the most organized Saccos in Uganda, having significantly improved its performance.

During the meeting, several clients with substantial savings were honored with various gifts, including goats and other tokens of appreciation.

Felix Mugisha, the General Manager of Issia Sacco encouraged members to adopt a culture of saving and investment for prosperity and emphasized that these gifts were a gesture of gratitude to give back to the community.

Members who spoke with our reporter after the meeting expressed their joy at receiving gifts from Issia Sacco, highlighting the cooperative's commitment to supporting its members.
