Two Arrested in Connection with Attack on 60-Year-Old Man
Ngabirano Charles Beshiisha, a 60-year-old resident of Kakoni B Cell in Kakoni Ward, Buremba Town Council, Kazo District, was attacked by his relatives who beat him severally.
The incident occurred yesterday November 24th, around 5:00 PM as Ngabirano was returning home from Kakoni Trading Centre.
He encountered two boys, related to him, who demanded money and when he informed them that he did not have any, they attacked him, stabbing his arm with a knife before fleeing the scene.
Ngabirano immediately contacted Ninsiima Julius, the LC1 chairman of Kakoni B Cell, who promptly responded and arrived at the scene. Chairman Ninsiima reported the incident to Buremba Police Station, which then initiated a manhunt for the two suspects whose identities have not been released due to security matters.
Fortunately, they were located and are currently detained at Buremba Police Station as investigations continue as the victim is admitted at Kazo Health Centre IV for treatment.
