Three suspects arrested in shooting security guard case
Police in Kampala are investigating a case where assailants shot dead a 36 year old security guard. According to police, the incident happened yesterday March 19th in Kabusu, Rubaga Division where three assailants on motorcycles, armed with a rifle shot and killed Agama Peter, a security guard working with Wolves Security Group.
The deceased was killed while on duty at Banxele Forex bureau Kabuusu branch and his gun was taken. Police were informed and they apprehended the suspects in Kawaala zone at Premier Betting. Sebuma Hussein, aka Obote, Dumba David, and Abdullah Jumah have been taken into custody and two firearms were recovered during the operation along with 13 rounds and another firearm, believed to have been used in the commission of the crime, with 10 rounds.
Kampala Metropolitan Area Deputy Police Spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire says the deceased, Agama was found with three gunshot wounds and his body was conveyed to the City Mortuary Mulago for postmortem examination as investigations into this tragic event have commenced.
