Health officials in Mbarara are calling for an end to the stigma surrounding individuals recovering from Mpox, following a series of successful treatments at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital.

The hospital has treated seven Mpox patients, with only one case remaining under care in the infectious diseases unit.
