Police in Mitooma district have apprehended two suspects while one remains at large in connection with the murder of a woman and her 7-year-old boy child.

The incident occurred yesterday in Mayanga D village, Mayanga Sub County in Mitooma District.

According to Police Prelimanary investigations, Kuribuba Brian, Tashobya Ben and a one Milton strangled Kiconco Susan and her son, Ahereza Blaise, while they were sleeping.

The suspects fled the scene but were later tracked down by police and are currently detained at Mitooma Central Police Station as investigations together with the search of another suspect continue.
