Police in Bushenyi District are investigating circumstances under which a 22-year-old was murdered and body dumped in the farm.

The deceased has been identified as Matayo Tekayo and his body was found dumped in Rwandaro cell, Central Division on July 21st. Martial Tumusiime, the Greater Bushenyi Region Police Spokesperson confirmed the incident that was reported by Zakarius Buhikires, the LC1 Chairman for Rushinya Central Division, Bushenyi.

The body of the deceased was found half-naked lying in the farm of a one Odomaru at Rwandaro cell Central Division in Bushenyi and the body had injuries on the head, chest, legs while blood was oozing from mouth, eyes, ears, nose.

Tumusiime added that the body of deceased was physically examined at the scene of crime and they expect that he might have been killed by unknown people who had to dump his body on the farm.  The body was retrieved and taken to KIU Hospital- Ishaka for post-mortem as investigations continue.
