Police in Sheema are investigating circumstances under which a 37 year old man was knocked dead by a yet to be identified person, who was ridding a motorcycle. The deceased, John Muhairwe, was a resident of Masyoro village-Kyangenyi-Sheema District.
Confirming this incident, Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson, Martial Tumusiime, said the accident happened on March 28th, at around 9:00PM and motorcycle registration number UFB 090E Bajaj boxer was abandoned at the scene and was taken to Kakindo Police Station.
Still in Sheema, Police are hunting for the suspects on allegations of animal theft in Kagongi Cell Nyarweshama ward, Sheema central Division.
It's alleged that in the night of March 28th, the locals who were patrolling, intercepted a motorcycle carrying four slaughtered goats being carried in polythene bags.
The suspects managed to escape leaving behind the motorcycle registration number UEN 271M Bajaji boxer and the exhibit of four dead goats. Police is currently hunting for these suspects who escaped to unknown destination.
