Bushenyi New RDC welcomed
The
leadership of Bushenyi District has formally welcomed the new
Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Emmy Ngabirano following the
suspension of former RDC Robert Atuhairwe over allegations involving
inappropriate relationships with a student from a certain school
in Bushenyi Distrcit.
During a ceremony to hand over office
tools to Ngabirano at the RDC’s office in Bushenyi, Deputy RDC
William Katsigazi emphasized that despite ongoing speculations, Bushenyi District
is home to cooperative and dedicated leaders.
Ngabirano who previously served in
Masindi as RDC for three years encouraged residents to collaborate
with him stating that the RDC’s office is committed to ensuring that
government programs and pledges are realized for the betterment of service
delivery.
Jafari Basajjabalaba, the Chairman LCV
of Bushenyi, affirmed that as the political head, he holds no grievances
against the RDC’s office and stressed that the recent events are personal
matters. He expressed his commitment to partnering with the RDC’s office to
enhance service delivery in the district.
