Mass Vaccination against FMD to start in Bushenyi
Bushenyi District is set to carryout massive vaccination against the Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) within the district following the outbreak of this disease, that forced the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry to impose quarantine.
Moses Bugyendo, the Bushenyi Ishaka Municipal Animal Husbandry Officer told reporters that the municipality is set to carryout massive vaccination slated to commence on 26th June. Bugyendo noted that since February, animals had been in quarantine that hindered economic matters and development.
