Police in kazo district are hunting a man who has been selling meat inside his house. 

The suspect only identified as Julius is a resident of Kazo Town Council in kazo district is said to have been selling meat inside his house which is against rules instituted to curb the spread of Foot and Mouth Disease.

Kazo District Acting Veterinary Officer, Nabimaya Alfred who has confirmed the reports said he received a call from police officers who were doing patrol who informed him that they found meat in Julius's house. He said the suspect who is currently on run has been selling meat via his house.

Police Officer at Kazo Police Station have commenced investigations and search of the suspect. Kazo District is among the 36 districts that facing quarantine aimed at curbing the spread of Foot and Mouth Disease where people are not allowed to sell animals and animal products like milk, meat among others.
