P.7 Candidates Begin PLE Exams
The Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) nationwide have commenced,
starting with the mathematics paper in the morning session and continuing with
Social Studies in the afternoon. A total of 798,771 candidates are
participating in these exams, which will conclude tomorrow, Thursday, November
7th, with the Science and English papers. Among the candidates, 379,414 are
male and 419,357 are female.
In Bushenyi district, 5,070 candidates were registered, and
all were present in the examination rooms. Michael Matigi,
the Bushenyi District Inspector of Schools, reported that the
distribution of examination papers to various centers across the
district went smoothly, allowing them to start on time.
However, Matigi noted a challenge: five candidates were
missing their examination papers. Fortunately, they were able to mobilize
additional papers from other centers to resolve the issue.
