Sheema Education Authorities attribute good performance to government efforts
Sheema District government aided secondary schools have performed well compared to private schools, according to the Education department in the district.
Ssempa Muzafaru, the District Inspector of Schools says government aided secondary schools have performed well in the recently released Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) S.4 results for 2023. He attributes this performance to government's efforts in ensuring a good learning environment for the learners.
At St. John's SS Nyabwina, 63 students passed in Division one and 48 in division two and this is according to Constantine Byamaka, the headteacher. Mutungi Alex, the headteacher St.Charles Lwanga High SS, said that the school management committees and the foundation body have helped the school alot in ensuring success of their learners.
At Ryakasinga Centre of Higher Education, 24 students passed in division one compared to last year's results where only 21 came in division one.
