Leader of Opposition in Parliament, Joel Ssenyonyi has asked Speaker Anitah Among not to use former Speaker Rebecca Kadaga and homosexuals to cover-up for the corruption allegations brought against her, saying Ugandans aren’t interested in her personal fights, but rather want accountability on how taxpayers’ money is spent.

Hon Ssenyonyi was speaking to media about the ongoing reports indicating how parliament and the speaker are engaging in corruption, misuse of tax payers money. Over the weekend, Speaker Among who was in Bukedea district where is the Womap MP informed people who were at Apopong Primary School Playground in Kolir that she is aware of those people fighting her are those that are unhappy with her decision to fight homosexuals. 

Among said those people who want her to resign from speakership did not put her as a member of parliament and that they are not the president who supported her and still is supporting her. According to Among, she is still having support from her voters and is not minding about what other people fighting her want. Anita was heard saying that there are people who want to reclaim the seat of the speaker and she wondered about the intentions of those people.

Today March 21st, the Leader Of Opposition was speaking to media where he asked speaker Among to stop using former speaker Rebecca Kadaga homosexuals to cover-up for the corruption allegations brought against her but give accountability on how taxpayers’ money is spent.
