Term three of 2024 officially commenced today, September 16th, 2024 as announced by the Ministry of Education and Sports.

KC News reporter visited Frame Foundation Primary School in Keihangara Parish, where head teacher, Mwogyera Peterson reported a registration of 306 pupils. He urged parents to send remaining children to school, emphasizing that it’s a promotional term.

At Kindergarten Primary School in the same parish, director Tugume George noted registration of 232 pupils and called on parents and guardians to ensure students attend by tomorrow, requesting that they take the promotional term seriously.

Also at Nkondo Secondary School in Igorora Town Council, head teacher Cadre Arthur Mushabe reported a lower student turnout, attributing it to parents involving their children in agriculture. He encouraged parents to send their children back to school and suggested those facing fee issues should come to the school to negotiate.
