Vaccination of Yellow Fever to April 18th
Leaders within Mbarara City have rallied residents to go for vaccination in preparation to prevent the spread of yellow fever.
The Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Health has today started the mass vaccination vaccination exercise is targeting people aged 1-60 and it will end on April 8th in 53 Districts in a bid to eliminate yellow fever from Uganda.
The woman Member of Parliament for Mbarara City Hon Ritah Bwahika says it is the responsibility of every citizen to take part in the Government's programs like these healthy ones. She encouraged all residents within Mbarara City and Uganda to go for vaccination to help prevent the spread of yellow fever.
Mbarara City South Division Mayor, Jomo Mugabe says all residents below the age of 60 should adhere to Government's programs hence calling upon people under the age bracket of 1 to 60, to go to their health centres for vaccination.
