One person has lost his life in an accident that happened in Kamutuumi Trading Center in Ruyonza Sub County, Kyegegwa district. The deceased has been identified as Robert Mbamanyire, 31, a resident of  Buhumuriro Cell in Biguli Sub County, Kamwenge district but was working from Kakabara Sub County Kyegegwa district.

The deceased was riding a Bajaj Boxer Reg. No. UFF 847Q when he veered off the road at Kakoni junction ramming into a stationary vehicle; a TATA lorry Reg. No. UBE 525V that was packed on the side of the road.

A team of detectives led by IP Wilfred Nkwatsibwe, the OC Traffic Kyegegwa District have rushed to the scene, and carried the body to Kyegegwa Mortuary for postmortem. Nkwatsibwe attributed this accident to over speeding, reckless driving noting that the deceased was driving at a higher speed.
