Police in Kazo district are investigating circumstances under which a 100 year old man was allegedly killed with his wife aged 88.

The deceased, identified as Baryayebwa John,100,  his wife Zelda Kenyangi, 88, all residents of  Buremba central cell in Kijoha ward, Buremba town council, Kazo district were allegedly murdered by unknown people on Friday (September 22) night. One of the residents, James Sabiti said he got to know about the incident when he came for  milking, he called them, they never responded and was forced to enter their house where he found the deceased in a pool of blood.

Turyasingura Geofrey, the councillor Kijoha ward in Buremba asked the residents to remain calm and give an opportunity to police to do its work. Officers from Kazo Police Station were informed, rushed to the scene and took the bodies to Kazo health IV for postmortem examination. Police have urged residents to cooperate with them in giving them any related information concerning the incident to help with the investigations.
