Mitooma man on run allegations of defiling 2 year old girl
Police in Mitooma District are hunting for a 19 year old man on allegations of defiling a 2 year old juvenile.
The suspect has been identified as Vincent Akili, a resident of Rwirara 1 village in Mitooma Sub County, Mitooma District.
The incident happened on 05th, January, 2024 at around 7:30PM and it is alleged that the the victim's mother left her with her father Sumuel Ainebyona and she went to the garden. It is said that the father also took her to the grand mother where the suspect was staying and he found her in the bed room defiled her.
Matial Tumusiime, the Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson confirmed the incident noting that the victim is currently admitted at Mitooma Health Center IV receiving treatment and hunting of the suspect is ongoing.
