45 year old woman murdered in Kazo

Woman murdered in Kazo, 2 arrested

Police in Kazo District are investigating circumstances under which a 45 year old woman was murdered by unknown assailants.

The deceased,Tushabe Rosset and a mother of 3 was a resident of Meru Meru A in Nkungu Sub County, Kazo District, she succumbed to injuries she got after she was attacked by a yet to be identified assailants on the way from her shop to home, at around 9:30pm, on June 16th.

The assailants cut Tushabe's body parts like arms, waist and head and she breathed her last along the way as they were rushing her to Kagongo Hospital in Ibanda. According to reports, Tushabe was married to Rev (Pastor) Messach Kahembera, they produced 2 children and later separated.

Rev Kahembera told KC News that some of his current family members including his wife and son, are in custody at Kazo Central Police Station as suspects over murder charges. Those arrested are Mary Busingye and Agaba Arthur who have been threatening to kill Tushabe accusing her of witchcraft.
