Police in Bushenyi district are investigating circumstances under which a 70 year old man was allegedly murdered by his biological son and  another relative.

The incident occurred yesterday in Bugomora cell in Kyabugimbi Town Council in Bushenyi district and the deceased has been identified as Bonabantu Fred, a resident of the same area. Martial Tumusiime, the Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson says reports indicate that on Sunday 21st January ,2024 at around 7am, the deceased body was found dumped in his kitchen at his home, the body was cuts on the neck.

According to Mugabo Rodgers 35, who reported the case to Police said the incident happened shortly after a family conflict over land involving the deceased and his children. Police visited the crime scene  took the body to Kampala International Teaching Hospital Ishaka for postmortem as inquiries into the matter continues.
