An 80-year-old woman, Kyomugisha Joy, a resident of Akengyeya Cell in Akengyeya Parish, Kyampangara Sub-county, Kazo District is seeking assistance from church leaders, government officials, and kind-hearted individuals due to a lack of shelter, food and other basic necessities.

Kyomugisha has three sons who have abandoned her, leaving her in a dire situation that forces her to ask for help. She is currently living with her 14-year-old grandchild and has been struggling without stable housing for an extended period.

Bamanya Laurence, the Chairman of LC1 Akengyeya Cell, confirms Kyomugisha's residence in the area and calls on government leaders to provide her with the necessary support.

Rev. Orone Francis Odeke of Emmanuel Akengyeya C.O.U. condemns the behavior of children who neglect their parents, treating them as if they are no longer of value.
