Deputy AIGP in Kiruhura after complaints of animal theft
The Deputy Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Major General Geofrey Katsigazi Tumusiime is in Kiruhura district, following a series of complaints from farmers, regarding increased cases of animal theft.
This follows a petition from farmers within this district regarding increased cases of animal theft.The concerned farmers with their petition letter informed Nyabushozi County MP, Hon Kajwengye Wilson about the increased cases of animal theft. Hon Kajwengye also wrote to Major Katsigazi in August this year inviting him to come and address this issue.
The engagement which also involves leaders and farmers from Kazo district is currently taking place at Kiruhura district grounds.
