While addressing the media today at Parliament, Hon Ssekikubo warned Kagoye against interfering in matters of MPs, and deploying underhanded means to frustrate the motion. Ssekikubo described Sergeant as a "terrorist" who hesaid he removed this table to try kill this motion and noted that he (Ssekikubo) will seek clarification from the Speaker, about an issue of removing the table.
He said he still needs the table because he is still collecting the signatures. However, Bugiri Municipality Legislator Asuman Basalirwa laughed off Ssekikubo’s complaints about having the table of record removed, saying the Rules of procedure don’t dictate that signatures of the censure motion have to be collected at Parliament alone, but rather these can be collected from Ssekikubo’s office at Parliament.
Hon Basalirwa asked Ssekikubo to attend the upcoming thanks giving ceremony organized by Mathias Mpuuga (Nyendo Mukungwe) in Masaka so as to solicit for some signatures of some of the MPs who are going to attend the event.
