FDC Najjanakumbi says the Katonga faction aims at destroying FDC
Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has embarked on regional sensitisation and mobilisation of party members ahead of 2026 general elections.
Speaking to delegates/members of FDC for Greater Bushenyi Sub Region at Corporate Bar in Kizinda yesterday, the FDC national chairman Jack Sabiiti noted that the faction in the party that has offices at Katonga road, is created with an aim of dividing the party. Sabiti refutes allegations that the party is divided noting that those with other offices have their own agendas that they will not accept.
Robert Centenary the former Kasese Municipality legislator who doubles as the party vice Chairman Western Region added the FDC believes in democratic elections and constitutionalism noting that those behind the FDC Katonga faction are aimed at disorganizing the party.
This meeting was also to engage with leaders and supporters from Rubirizi, Bushenyi, Buhweju, Mitooma and Sheema in Ishaka town. The party leaders resolved to strength and build their party.
