Man breaks house with intention of stealing
Ibanda Grade One
magistrate’s court has remanded a man to prison over charges of housebreaking
and theft. Robert Asiimwe, a resident of Mishozi, Bisheshe Division in Ibanda
Municipality allegedly broke into the house of Vincent Tumuhairwe on November
13, 2022 with the intention of stealing and, hence breaking section.
The court,
presided over by Her Worship Esther Murungi, also heard that Asssimwe
reportedly stole Shs. 50,000 from Tumuhairwe’s house, the suspect denied the
charges.
Asiimwe was later
remanded to Nyabuhikye Prison until July 25, when he will come back to court
for hearing of the cases against him.
