Kazo District National Resistance Movement (NRM) Chairman has asked the NRM leaders to extend the days of updating membership exercise.

The NRM Party was conducting the exercise of Membership register update as away of preparing for its primary elections that will be held in 2025 as the country will be preparing for the 2026 general elections. The exercise of updating the membership register commenced on March 13th and ended on March, 17th where the party registrars were checking and verifying names of party supporters.

Kazo district NRM party Chairman Nkaija Wilson said the exercise within the district was conducted successful where people came in large numbers to register, check their names. On another note, Nkaija requested NRM secretariat to at least extend more days to give unregistered people enough time to participate in this exercise.
