Headteachers want Science subjects taught in Primary Schools
A section of head teachers in Primary Schools in Kiruhura district are proposing to have practical Science subjects in Primary Schools, in a move to improve and enhance Science and technology in Uganda.
In an exclusive interview with reporters, head teachers in Kiruhura district including Tusime Justus Director Nshwerenkye Nursery and Primary school, Mount Olive primary school head teacher, Murangira Joseph noted that Practical science subjects should be taught right from Primary Schools.
According to these headteachers, this can build a great path for a student in a secondary school while studying Science Subjects.
The government has been advocating for the enhancement of Science and Technology in every sector in the country.
