Leaders cautioned against politics of hatrade
The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Party Chairman in Kiruhura district has cautioned leaders as well people in Kashongi County in Kiruhura district to avoid politics of divisionism and violence. Nzeire Sedrack Kaguta who is also President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni's brother said these remarks while holding NRM meeting for the open political discussion or Baraza at Kashongi Sub County headquarters in Kashongi County on March 17th, 2024.
In this Baraza, people were allowed to give their complaints concerning political matters affecting their county. It wad discovered that some leaders were promoting divisionism basing on their political parties and their religions.
It is from this feedback where NRM Chairman Kiruhura, Nzeire Sedarck asked leasers especially NRM party leaders to avoid politics of hatrade, divisionism noting that such do not allow developments. In this meeting, the area member of parliament Hon Herbert Tayebwa also asked people to always report to authorities those leaders that promote politics of hatrade. He urged leaders and people to develop the spirit of unity for the developments to be secured.
