Suspects in murder of Kiruhura businessman brought to court
Kiruhura court has adjourned the hearing of a case where five suspects are accused of murdering a businessman.
The suspects are Byamukama Justus 34, a resident of Rujumbura cell, Nyabuhikye Parish in Ibanda district, Muwonge Martia 30, a resident of Nyakasharara, Kiruhura Town council, Kiruhura district, Kabagambe Hannington 35, a resident of Naama cell, Macuncu parish, Kinoni sub county, Mutambi owamukama 32, a resident of Rushere town council in Kiruhura district and Nabi siah 27, a resident of Rujumbura cell, Nyabuhigye parish in Ibanda district. Other two suspects are still on run and these are Kiconco Moses aka Masantura and Ndamba Isaac.
The suspects are accused of taking part in the murder of Gumisiriza Sam, who was dealing in milk sale business and a resident of Naama cell, Macuncu parish, Kinoni sub county, Kiruhura district was murdered on 2 nd September,2023 while returning from the bank in a broad day light. The suspects allegedly took Shs. 29 million before killing him.
The above suspects were brought to Kiruhura court before His worship, Akankwasa Edward who said investigations were incomplete and had to adjourn the hearing of the case to October 11, 2023.
