Residents of Kigando cell Kigando Parish in kashongi county Kirhura district were shocked after burying a wrong person. It is said a family in this cell buried a wrong person thinking they were burying the head of this family, Fabiano Kabigumira 48.

Kabigumira left his family in search for a job in Keikoti -Kiruhura 4 years ago, he later changed a place of work to Kyabagyenyi cell in Rushere Town council still in Kiruhura District. However Last week, his friend Ndimu Fred whom he was working with in Keikoti died and was mistaken to be Fabiano Kabigumira.

According to Mwijuka Alex a son to  Kabigumira Fabiano, the family was contacted about the death of their father, made burial arrangements which costed them over 7 million. He says on checking the luggage that came along with the corpse after burial, they found it was another person not their father. On hearing such news, Kabigumira came home to denounce the news about his death.
