Security agencies in Kitagwenda district are stuck with a 27-year-old man who claiming he was kidnapped by Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) terrorists in 2015.

Addressing the press yesterday in his office, Kitagwenda Resident District Commissioner (RDC)

Nicholas Keine Kamukama revealed that the suspect whose name has been withheld for security reasons, is a resident of Bufunda cell in Ibanda municipality who claims to have been kidnapped together with 5 others in 2015 by ADF at River Nyamwamba in Kasese. The suspect claims after the kidnap, they were taken to Kilembe highlands of Mt.Rwenzori into Democratic Republic of Congo from where they were trained as terrorists.

According to the RDC ,the suspect escaped from these ADF In DR of Congo and has been in custody for three weeks and they are still investigating on whether he should be released or not.
