High court sitting in Bushenyi sentenced a man to 14 years in jail over attempted murder case.

Brian Natwijuka was sent to Nyamushekyera Government Prison to be jailed for 14 years after he was found guilty of attempting to murder Vicent Tumuhaise.

Court presided over by residence judge Amos Kwizera heard that on January, 19 while at Kibutamoin Sheema district, Natwijuka kidnapped Tumuhaise a resident of the same area with an intention to murder  him before he was arrested by police in Sheema .

Court heard that Natwijuka stole unspecified amount of money, phone belong to Tumuhaise after kidnapping him. Natwijuka pleaded guilty for the mentioned offenses, asked court to give him a lenient sentence since it was his first offence and he didn't waste court time.
