Police in Entebbe are investigating a case of aggravated defilement involving a minor. The incident was reported by the victim's mother, Ninsiima Sharone and allegedly involves her husband, Waggama Yusuf, a 40-year-old traditional healer and the victim's stepfather.

Sources indicate that the suspect,Waggama Yusuf exploited his position of trust by advising his wife to sleep in the shrine, leaving him alone with the victim. He is accused of performing sexual acts on the victim without her consent on multiple occasions.

The situation escalated when Waggama reportedly attempted to physically assault his wife, prompting her to flee. Concerned about her daughter’s condition following this incident, Ninsiima Sharone observed signs of weakness in the victim and subsequently sought medical attention and a checkup revealed that the victim is pregnant.

Kampala MetropolitanArea Police Spokesperson, Patrick Onyango, confirmed the reports, indicating that the investigation into this matter is ongoing.
