Farmers have been urged to prepare their gardens early.
Preparing gardens early will enable farmers to plant their crops early in away of fighting food shortage and hunger at household level.
The Kazo District Production Officer, Asimwe John Baptist Kuragire made this call during an interview with reporters at Kazo District Headquarters in Kazo Town Council, Kazo District. He urged farmers to use this remaining time to prepare their gardens for crop growing so that by the time of planting, they plant early in order to harvest early.
Asimwe also cautioned people in the district of Kazo and other areas against eating meat when they are not sure about its source so as not to be infected with anthrax among other animal diseases.
