Sheema District Security Committee together with Sheema Municipality Education department have closed Plain Secondary School, a private secondary school in Nyakashambya ward, Kabwohe division in sheema municipality for failure to meet the operation standards set by the Education Ministry.

While meeting the school director, Teachers and Students at the school premises yesterday, Tushemerirwe Ziporah, the Sheema Municipality Education Officer noted that the school director Denis Tumutegyerize has failed to respond to the set down guidelines including not having a school licence and was operating in a sub-standard structures putting the lives of students at risk.

Ziporah said despite numerous warnings to school directors,  the school had adamantly continued operating even after ordered to close.
