Police in Mitooma District are currently searching for two individuals implicated in the murder of a 30-year-old man in Omukiyenje Cell, Kabiira Sub County.

Martial Tumusiime, Police Spokesperson for Greater Bushenyi Region confirmed the identities of the suspects as Junior Kansiime and Sunday Stuart, while the deceased has been identified as Amon Ainebyoona, a resident of the same area.

According to reports, the incident occurred around 5 am yesterday when Ainebyoona was allegedly attempting to break into Kansiime's house through the front door. This commotion prompted Kansiime and his brother, Stuart, to enter from the back and beaten Ainebyoona to death.

 After murdering him, the two suspects fled the scene, Police visited the scene and transported the body to Kitagata Hospital mortuary in Sheema District for a postmortem examination as hunting of the two suspects continue.
