Police in Bushenyi District are investigating a case of defilement where a 6 year old girl was allegedly defiled by a 15 year old boy in Migina cell, Ibaare Sub County  in Bushenyi District. 

The suspect is Rodgers Behangana, 15, also a resident of the above named address and is alleged to have lured the victim with bread to have sexual intercourse which the victim accepted. According to Greater Bushenyi Regional Police Spokesperson Matial Tumusiime, the victim was seen bleeding by a resident only identified as Evelyn who informed the mother Alice Tumukunde, 32 and later reported the matter to Kashenyi Police station.

Tumusiime says police swung into action, arrested the suspect who will be brought to court after the investigations to answer charges of aggravated defilement.
