Security authorities in Kamwenge District have asked the public to be vigilant after reports indicating there are suspected Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) rebels in Rwamwanja.

Reports indicate unknown number of ADF rebels from Democratic Republic of Congo who are in Rwamwanja area in Kamwenge, the suspected rebels are in putting on military uniform and have guns.

Speaking to KC News on this matter, Rwamwanja Police OC, ASP Jimmy Akol has conformed the reports urging the public to be vigilant, inform security authorities in case they come across a person they do not know well in their area. He says they have intensified security patrols, hunting for these suspected ADF rebels has commenced.
