Residents of Kabatanagi- Mbaba Parish in Kazo Sub County, Kazo district were left in shock after discovering a body of a yet to be identified woman floating in water near Mbaba-Kitongore Bridge along  Kazo –Ibanda road.

Adrine Katwere, a resident of the same area told KC News  that she saw the body while she was  grazing her cows in the farm at around 6:30pm on April, 17th. Residents seemed not to be happy with police for not responding early to remove the body from water. Residents saw this body in the evening of April 17th, and by press time of April 18th, the body was still in the water even after police was informed.

Kabatanagi village LC1 Chairperson, Kenneth Agaba says he alerted police officers at Kazo Central Police Station but he was wondering why they were not responding even after informing them early. By Press time, a police officer from Kitongore Police Post had reached at the scene waiting for police officers from Kazo Central Police Station to come.
