The Uganda People's Defense Forces (UPDF) has confirmed the death Deputy Commandant of the Air Defense Forces, Brigadier General Stephen Kigundu. The UPDF Spokesperson, Brigadier General Felix Kulayigye announced Brig.Kigundu’s demise in a brief statement issued on Sunday March, 31st.

In a statement,  Brigadier General Felix Kulayigye said Brigadier General Stephen Kigundu was well all day until in the evening of a Sunday (Easter Sunday) when he met his death after slipping in his bathroom.

Brig. Kulayigye said the Uganda People’s Air Defense Forces will miss Kigundu at this time when his services are badly needed.
