Police in Greater Bushenyi Region have cleared places that will have to display fireworks while ushering in New Year of 2024 on Sunday night.

According to Greater Bushenyi Region Police Spokesperson Martial Tumusiime, people are not supposed to burn tires along the streets while ushering the new year noting that the one who will be caught will have to be arrested. Tumusiime furthered informed people about places that will display fireworks in Greater Bushenyi Region including Senevin, Belline Hotel, Ishaka town, Kitunzi highway point western meridian Hotel , 707 Safaris Motel, Mitooma Bubangizi parish mitooma, Peak Hotel Bushenyi, Motiva Grand Suits, Peak Hotel ltd Mitooma and Mitooma Rutookye Classic Hotel.

He urged people to follow these guidelines while ushering in the New Year adding that security agencies are on ground to fight law breakers.
