Bukoto South Legislator Hon Twaha Kagabo says his meeting with President Yoweri Kaguta  Museveni was not Political. On February, 2, Hon Kagabe met President Museveni during NRM caucus meeting at State House Entebbe.

Hon Kagaba who belongs to an opposition political party of National Unity Platform (NUP), was seen in this NRM caucus which sparked mixed reactions after photos of him, president Museveni and first lady Janet Museveni were seen on social media platforms. Some sources indicate that Hon Kagabe joined NRM party from NUP. Most politicians saw this as a betray betrayal who were worried that the crossing of Opposition MPs to NRM is not healthy for multi-party democracy in Uganda.

However, Hon Kagabo commenting on this issue said his meeting with President Museveni was not political and that he met the president not NRM party. Hon Kagabo said he is now praying to God to give those criticizing this meeting wisdom to know the difference between meeting the President and party issues.
