Police in Rubirizi district is holding a 32 year old man on allegations of defiling his 4 year old biological daughter. 

The suspect has been identified as Ibrahim Ssentongo, a resident of Mugogo 11 Village, Ryeru Sub County in Rubirizi district. According to the Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson Martial Tumusiime, the suspect separated with his wife (the mother of the child) 3 years ago, and earlier this year, his wife decided to bring the child to stay with him.

Reports indicate that the suspect used the chance of not staying with his wife and he allegedly defiled his daughter over numerous times. Tests done on a child while at Rugazi Health Centre IV confirmed that the child was defiled many times. Police is still investigating the matter.
