Police in Kampala have confirmed the arrest of a man who was seen in a video attempting to rob a man.

The suspect, Ashraf Kiiza who was captured having a panga and hammer, violently demanded money Turyamuhaki Sam at Bashir Grain Millers in Natete Kutano on May 13, 2024.

According to Police, Kiiza assaulted. Turyamuhaki who is currently undergoing treatment because of the injuries he sustained. The suspect was apprehended by Flying squad unit Police officers who found him in Kyotera and is now detained at Nateete Police Station as investigations continue.
