Mitooma resolves patrols over theft cases
Mitooma district security committee has resolved to start up night patrols to crackdown criminals following increased cases of theft and robbery in the district.
This follows complaints from residents who have been complaining about the increasing number of youths grabbing handbags from people while others attacking them during evening hours. Merishent Ariyo, the Mitooma district deputy Resident District Commissioner (RDC) said they resolved to enhance day and night patrols to crackdown criminals.
The Mitooma Deputy RDC also asked residents to form neighborhood watch teams that might help in working with police to fight about security threats in their areas.
