NRM Party commences membership register exercise

NRM registrars urged to verify names well in registers

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Party has today commenced the exercise of the Membership register update as away of preparing for its primary elections that will be held in 2025 as the country will be preparing for the 2026 general elections.

The exercise of updating membership register that has started today ending on March, 17th, includes checking and verifying names, correcting names, entering new members with the help of National Identity cards’ NIN numbers among others things.

In Kiruhura district, the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Bakunda George has urged all NRM registrars at all levels to do this exercise well to avoid inconveniences in the party primary elections.

RDC Bakunda has pledged to work hand in hand with the security agencies in the district to make sure the exercise is done well.
