Road work worth Shs 105 M launched in Ntungamo
Authorities in Ntungamo district have launched road works worth 105 million shillings.
The road works on the 11.2-kilometer Nyakisa-Zeituni-Kabumba road will involve bush clearing, opening drainages and putting in place head walls where there are culverts.
Speaking at the launch of the project held at Zeituni Bridge, Ntungamo district LCV Chairperson Samuel Mucunguzi revealed that the opening and working on roads aim at supporting the locals in taking their produce to market as well as accessing other services.
Acting Ntungamo district Engineer Charles Kusemererwa revealed that the engineering team was ready to execute the work on time and ensure that it eased connectivity between the subcounties of Nyabushenyi and Nyabihooko.
