Residents of Rweminyafu Village in Rwempiri Ward, Kazo Town Council in Kazo District were left in shock after discovering the decomposing body of an unidentified person dumped in a bush.

According to Enos Tugume Kamutono, the Rwempiri Ward Councillor, it is suspected that the deceased person was murdered and the body dumped in the bush. He says they informed the Police at Kazo Central Police Station about the matter.

Twiine Benon, the owner of the Farm where the Decomposing body was found, reported the incident to Kazo CPS, and the sudden death case was registered under file SD REF 28/10/04/2024.

By Press time, the body was still in the bush, Kazo District Police Commander-DPC SP Nsabimana Joseph, has confirmed that he is aware of the incident and that they are waiting for the doctor to do a postmortem to ascertain the cause of this person's death.
