President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has challenged Ugandans to keep supporting church activities as away of paving ways to develop their areas.
President Museveni's remarks were made by the Prime Minister, Robinah Nabbanja who was representing the president as the Guest of Honor at a function of laying a foundation stone at North Ankore Docese Mission Hospital at the Diocese Headquarters, Emmanuel Cathedral and commissioning UNRA roads at the Diocese Headquarters in Rushere Town Council.
The function was held yesterday April 8th and while delivering the President's message, Prime Minister Nabbanja said the president Museveni has directed the Ministry of Finance to monitory give a hand of support towards the development of North Ankore Diocese, the thing that has been done. President Museveni applauded Christians with in this Diocese for the spirit of unity.
North Ankole Diocese Bishop, Rt. Rev Stephen Namanya thanked the government led by President Museveni for the support towards the development of the Diocese. Area Members of Parliament including Kiruhura District Woman MP, Jovanice Rweduuru, Nyabushozi County MP, Wilson Kajwengye among others were present at the function.
